Yes. Every Cross and Stone piece is carved entirely by hand by Mike Ayers — no molds, no casting, no mass production. The stone is shaped, the wood crosses are carved, and the leather is tied by hand, one piece at a time.

Indiana limestone is dense, fine-grained stone quarried in Owen County, Indiana —the same stone used to build the Empire State Building and the Pentagon. It is prized for its strength and timeless character, which is why each Cross and Stone sculpture is built to endure.

Yes. Because every sculpture is carved by hand from natural stone, no two are exactly alike. Each carries its own grain, weight, and small marks of the maker — so the piece you receive is truly the only one of its kind.

We get it shipping can be expensive for heavy items. Our shipping is calculated by weight - there are no hidden handling fees or costs. We ship according to the customers wishes ––  be it fast, or cost effective. All of our sculptures are wrapped in tissue paper, bubble wrap and hand packed into double walled boxes and every shipment is insured. Each piece is named for the faith it is meant to carry — many drawn from scripture or moments of quiet devotion. The names reflect not just what the sculpture is, but what it stands for: hope, steadiness, and faith that endures.

How do I display and light these pieces?

Accepted Answer

Each sculpture is made to be displayed on a flat, level surface — a mantel, shelf, desk, or altar space. For the tea-light pieces, set the candle only when the sculpture rests on a stable, level surface, keep it clear of anything flammable, and never leave a burning candle unattended or around children or pets.
