Studio Policies for Cross and Stone
Shipping and Delivery
Each creation is handled with the utmost reverence, reflecting the care Mike pours into every carving. All orders are dispatched directly from our studio located in St. Charles, Iowa.
Fulfillment Timelines
Ready-to-ship items are meticulously packed and mailed within 3–5 business days of purchase. Since every sculpture is individually hand-hewn from Indiana limestone or Iowa hardwood, each piece is a unique treasure. We take great care with the packaging to ensure your stone arrives in the same condition it left the bench.
For custom commissions, we establish a unique production schedule during our initial consultation and provide regular updates as your vision takes shape.
Logistics and Transit
We use USPS for all domestic shipping, and you will receive a tracking link via email the moment your order departs. To ensure its safe arrival, each sculpture is wrapped in delicate tissue, nestled inside a signature jute bag, secured with our gold seal, and reinforced for the rigors of travel.
Shipping costs are calculated live at checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order. Currently, we serve customers within the United States. International patrons are encouraged to contact us directly to discuss feasibility and rates.
Damages in Transit
While limestone is remarkably durable, the mailing process can be taxing. If your artwork arrives in a damaged state, please notify us at studio@crossent.net within 7 days. Include photographs of the damaged sculpture and the exterior packaging so we can rectify the situation immediately.
Returns and Exchanges
We believe in creating faith-inspired art that brings a sense of peace to your home. Because our work is crafted by hand, no two items are identical.
Ready-Made Sculptures
If a standard piece does not resonate with you, it may be returned within 14 days of receipt for a refund of the purchase price. Items must be returned in their original, unused state. The customer is responsible for return postage, and we kindly ask that you replicate our protective packing methods.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method once the item is safely returned.
Commissioned Works
Custom orders are crafted specifically for you and are considered final sales. We maintain close communication during the creative process to ensure the final sculpture meets your expectations. Returns are not accepted for bespoke commissions.
Authentic Character
Natural variations such as grain patterns, mineral tones, and subtle tool marks from the hand-carving process are the soul of our work. These are intentional characteristics of natural stone and wood, not defects, and do not qualify for returns. Cross and Stone products are meant to look unique every single time.
Privacy Policy
As a family-operated studio, we safeguard your data as if it were our own. Cross and Stone Studio is located in St. Charles, Iowa, and we are available at studio@crossent.net for any privacy inquiries.

Information Sharing
We never trade or sell your personal details. We only share data with essential partners—our hosting provider, payment gateways, and shipping carriers—to complete your transactions. If your purchase originated on Etsy, their separate privacy policy also applies to that interaction. You retain the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us.
